Composition

While composition and notation are a regular part of the studio's curriculum,

some students take a special interest in the subject.

Taking queue from the studio's logo, we've developed "Songs by Color".

Coloring Pages

It's not a surprise that people (but especially children) enjoy coloring.

It has a way of engaging the brain and fine motor skills.

One student thought we could tap into this and make coloring pages to reflect the mood of a song.

Piano Lap Book

The piano is a very interesting instrument.

Among other things, this book features a the inner workings of a baby grand,

a timeline of the instrument, practice tips, a fold-out keyboard and more!

Rosaries

Music is a great way to express ourselves in prayer.

One of the students discovered a skill for making rosaries.

She prays for the recipient of each one she makes and is raising funds for a pilgrimage to Rome during her Senior year of high school.

Student Virtue Planner

Sometimes the trickiest thing about learning the piano if first

learning how to practice.

One of our students created a planner that works for her, and hopefully for you, too.
